August 2008

September 1, 2008

26 trades, 16 winners ( 61.5%), with a total -164 pips (-4.4%). For the whole year, we are up 465 pips or 14.5% risking 1% of the equity on each trade:

July 2008

August 6, 2008

19 trades, 6 losers, 13 winners (68% winning chance) made a total of 212 pips or 3.53% gain risking 1% on each trade (here):

P.S.

From this month, I use this account as the reference for reporting the performance.

Week 20

July 27, 2008

I planned a EUR/USD trade and traded that plan and it worked out great. I will talk about it later. Here is this last week:

8 trades, 2 losers with a resturn of -0.31%, $ 16.45.

In total, the account is up 7.30%.

P.S.

I had ome problems with my Oanda account this past week which prevented me from executing some trades (I took them on my other account and were profitable).

Week 11

April 12, 2008

5 trades, only 1 winner. In total I lost 89 pips, making the pipage to a total of 170 pips. My dollar value for the week was $ -92.45 (-2.88%). For the whole period, I am up 5.25%.

BTD: $ 5263.64

What I did wrong: I consider the loses normal losers. No rules were bent, not emotions were the cause of position taking.

What Should I do for next week:

1- Continue to concentrate on the chosen pairs.

2- Risk no more than 1% per trade.

3- As always said: good results come from good trades. Stick to good trades and good results will follow…

4- Try to finish April positive. My goal is not to have 2 back to back losing months.

Week 10

April 4, 2008

12 trades were triggered this week, 9 winners. In total I banked 216 pips, making the pipage to a total of 419. I earned $ 168.54 for the week (3.21%). For the whole period, I am up 8.37%.

BTD: $ 5418.49

What I did wrong: I was pretty obeying the rules. The only trade which was wrong according to the rules was the kiwi trade and the result was -74 pips (no wonder!).

What Should I do for next week:

1- Continue to concentrate on 5 pairs.

2- Risk no more than 1% per trade.

3- As always said: good results come from good trades. Stick to good trades and good results will follow…
